2 smileys for peak 5 days apart

Question

I got a blank circle on day 14, a smiley face for PEAK on day 15, and a blank circle again on day 16. I normally ovulate on day 20, not 15, so I was skeptical and tried again on day 19 and got a blank circle. Lone behold on day 20 I tested again and I got a peak smiley again. Then day 21 I got a blank circle again. Can you really ovulate twice in one month like this indicates (day 15 and 20), or was one of these results a false positive?

Also, the past 2 months the tests worked 'fine' and I only got peaks on day 20/21. Its the pink stick kind, not the advanced.

Hi Stephanie - There is typically only one substantial Surge in LH during each cycle so as you have seen more than one we recommend you discuss your results with your Doctor.  Misleading results can be caused by recent pregnancy, certain fertility medications containing LH or hCG, menopause or PCOS.  Best wishes.
