8 days high fertility, but no peak fertility!

Question

I track my ovulation with a phone app (Ovia) as well as the using the Clearblue Digital Advanced Ovulation Test. I started doing the ovulation test the first day of ovulation (CD 13) and I got a low fertility sign "O". I tested for next eight days and I've gotten high fertility ":)" flashing smiley face (CD 14-CD 21). But No peak ovulation.

Even more odd, I had a low fertility on (CD 17) and then back to high. I've been using these tests for three months and I've yet to get peak fertility. However prior to this month, once I got a high fertility for two days, I stopped taking the test. That was because I was under the assumption that peak fertility would be the next two days.

Also, my app updates my positive high fertility ovulation test as actual ovulation. Therefore it's updati my fertile time (which is great) and pushing back my date to take a pregnancy test, my cycle length and possibly my period start date. I messaged  Ovia in regards to the clear blue test and said they weren't sure and would like to know what clear blue tells me. (My main question to them was why I woul have 8 days of peak fertility/could one actually ovulate for more than 6 days. As every thing I read says cycles can fluctuate, but that ovulation is only for 6 days).
