8 days of "high" and no "peak"

I started using 10 day Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation test and day one was "low" and then for the next 8 days, I tested "high". I actually tested twice in one day. I started a new test today and it showed "low" again. I was on Clomid prior to testing. Why did I never see a "peak"?

Hi Laura - We always recommend that the early morning urine be used when looking for your High Fertility days otherwise you may get misleading High Fertility results. Once you have found your High Fertility days you can test any time of day as long as it's with a urine sample that has been in the bladder for at least 4 hours.

It is also important to note that as Clomid contains estrogen, you may get misleading High Fertility results. Clomid can also affect your cycle length which may cause you to start testing either too late or too soon.

Occasionally some women may have an LH surge that is too low for the test to detect, or they may not ovulate during a cycle and therefore won't see Peak Fertility. This isn't unusual and may happen in approximately 8% of cycles. If you don't see Peak Fertility over a number of cycles, we recommend discussing this with your doctor.

If you would like to know then please don't hesitate to call our careline a call at 1-800-321-3279 and mention reference number 001802246A. We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm ET.

Can metformin cause the same results? I've been getting only high results on my Clearblue Advance Ovulation Predictor Kit. Should I also be testing again later in the day to check for the peak?
