Hi Cynthia, thanks for your message. The abscense of Peak Fertility doesn't mean you haven't ovulated. There could be many reasons for not detecting Peak and in order for us to help you could we please ask that you call our Careline? You can reach us at 800-321-3279 and we're open weekdays 08.30am-05.00pm ET. Hope to hear from you soon!

Iva had 9 high fertility days and no peak, should I keep testing? I still have sticks , is my first month using them so I'm not sure this is the reason I keep having highs or if I'm not going to ovulate this month ?

High Fertility will be displayed when an increase in estrogen is detected.  Once High Fertility is displayed, the holder will continue to display High Fertility daily until an LH surge is detected or until tests are missed for 3 consecutive days.

If Peak Fertility is not detected in a cycle then an excessive number of High Fertility days will be seen.  If you have already seen 10 or more High Fertility days then we recommend you stop testing for this cycle as it's unlikely you'll go on to see Peak. Occasionally some women may have an LH surge that is too low for the test to detect, or they may not ovulate during a cycle and therefore won't see Peak Fertility. This isn't unusual and may happen in approximately 8% of cycles. If you don't see Peak Fertility over a number of cycles, we recommend discussing this with your doctor.

We'd be happy to chat if you'd like to talk through your questions.  Feel free to call us at 1-800-321-3279 and mention reference1890453A.  We're open weekdays from 8:30-5:00 ET.

Hi,

So i started using opk kits on CD7, i got a positive cheap opk on CD11 and a lot of cramping, i then got a high fertility clear blue digital ovulation test (flashing face). Followed by cramping on sundau * Monday I continued to get flashing smiley face today which is CD16. Which are the more accurate tests as the cheap opk have veen faint since CD13 but flashing but no peak from Clear blue.

Have I already ovulated? I've attached the picture of the cheap ovulation tests in date order.

Hello. My cycle is 30-32 days. I started testing on the 13th day and i only got the circle. Then i got a flashing smiley face on my 17th day, then on the 18th i got the circle and a flashing smiley face again on 19th. Is this late ovulation or did I miss my ovulation? I am so confused... Why did this happen? Thanks so much.

Hi Anastasia,

It is important you use the same Holder consistently during one cycle of testing, as the Holder has a memory to store the hormone levels and adapt its sensitivity in tracking the changes in your hormones. Start testing from cycle day 10 using your first morning urine as ovulation is typically 12-16 days before the next cycle. If you got Low Fertility on the 18th, is it possible you used a different Holder? Continue to use the Holder which is showing you the flashing smiley (High Fertility), however if you see 10 days of High Fertility then you can stop testing as you are less likely to see Peak Fertility after this.

Hi,

So I’m feeling a little down. I bought the clear blue advanced digital ovulation test and I started testing on Cycle Day 12 and got the open circle, I didn’t test Day 13, Day 14-today (cycle day 23) I’ve been having the high fertility flashing smileys and never saw a peak. I don’t know if I messed it up by skipping the one day or what but I’m nervous that maybe I didn’t ovulate. If someone could provide some insight I would really really appreciate it!
