Advanced digital test

Using the advanced digital test. I had a few leftover sticks and holder from a previous cycle, so I used those this cycle. I got a low, then two days of high. That box was empty, so I went to a new box, and got a low. Again the next day, a low. I figured I missed my peak. I tested again the next day just to see, and I got peak. How could I go from high to low to peak?

Hi Charla, when you purchased the new box, did you switch holders and begin using the holder in the new box?  It's important to use the same digital holder for an entire cycle of testing.  The first test is designed to take a baseline reading, which would explain why you saw low fertility with the second box after seeing high fertility with the first box.

For the 2nd test to display peak fertility, it would have had to detect a rise in your level of LH.  I'd say this is a valid peak.  Our Careline would be happy to talk this through if you have questions.  Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-321-3279 and mention reference #FB334.  We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern time.  We hope you get your BFP soon :)

Hi Karen,
Thanks for your reply. I did use the new holder from the new box. You are supposed to use the test sticks that came with the holder, right? So in essence, you have to use a new box each cycle, correct? Next time I guess I will just use a new box each cycle, but this is costly as I never use all the test sticks.

You're welcome, Charla.  You can use any test sticks which are leftover from a previous month, as long as you don't switch holders in the middle of a cycle.  It doesn't matter if you mix test sticks from different boxes.  Hope this helps!

But how many times can you use a single holder?
