Advanced test strips with pink tester

I just started using the Clearblue Easy Digital Ovulation test. I bought the regular, not the advanced. When I went back to buy more test strips, I didn't realize at the time because there was only one kind at the store but I bought the purple test strips and I have the pink digital stick. Will the purple ones work with the pink test? I really hope so because I spent $70 on a box of 30 and they won't take it back.
