Back date the resetting of your cycle---

The first month I used my fertility monitor, I became pregnant. Unfortunately, I lost the baby early in the first trimester. I didn't realize I was supposed to "reset" my fertility monitor for a new cycle each month.
I monitor my menstrual cycle on another app and would like to have my fertility monitor set up for this month (as it worked the first time we used it last time). Is there any way to backdate the reset my fertility monitor for a new cycle when my period started... I monitor my menstrual cycle on my p-tracker... is there any way to go back and "back date" the start of my new cycle? Or, can I simply test everyday this month to detect a surge (will the monitor allow you to "test" on non test dates)???
