Book error on the second test of the batch

I took one test yesterday and when I went to take one today it gave me the book error... how do I reset it? I just bought them on Friday and really don't want to go spend more money just to buy another box to get the test holder.... I'm really disappointed, and I'm close to my fertile days, so I REALLY needed them to double check when I'm ovulating. I almost feel as if I wasted money on these for this cycle.. :/
