Can pregnancy throw off my ovulation results?

I just took my first ovulation test today and got a "Peak" result, could it say peak because of possible pregnancy hormones? We've recently been trying but its not soon enough for us to know. Just wondering if this is a possiblity?

Being pregnant can affect your test results, Tawny.  If you suspect pregnancy, go ahead & take a Clearblue pregnancy test.  You can test with Clearblue as early as 5 days before your missed period, which is 4 days before you expect your period to start.  If you test before the date of your expected period and get a 'Not Pregnant' result, there still is a chance you may be pregnant, and you should test again when your period is due.  We wish you all the best!

Seven days after ovulation there remains a possibility to have a positive result on the most sensitive pregnancy tests. Implantation have to take place before hCG is produced that usually happens between 6-12 days post ovulation. If you wish to know the detail information about it then this healthshare could be of help for you. Remember hCG levels usually double every 2-3 days, but if you have any doubt then it’s better to consult with doctor.
