CLEARBLUE DIGITAL OPK 20 TEST

Hi, I started my OPK the day after my period ( My period is only for 3 days ) the first day was an empty circle, the following day I had the smiley face that stayed for 48hrs... The morning after the 48hrs I did another test and had a empty circle again, later in the day I re-tested and I got another smiley face that won't go away... Im confused as to what this means... is it possible to ovulate that soon? Is it supposed to do that where I tested and had to wait 48hrs and now I have to wait another 48hrs. Im not sure when I ovulate because I had no clue you could even ovulate that soon. PLEASE HELP.

Hi Sam.  Without knowing your cycle length it's hard to say if the Peak was in the expected place for you but we would not expect the LH Surge to be detected for more than 48 hours so we recommend you discuss your results with your Doctor.

my cycle length is usually around 26 or 27 days. Is it possible for it to be dectected for 48hrs go away and be detected again or did I just end up with a  bad kit?

Hi Sam - Thanks for that.  What days of your cycle did you see the Peak?  The surge may last for as long as 48 hours - it will vary from woman to woman and cycle to cycle.

Hi Sally, I got the smiley face that lasted 48 hrs two days after my period ended... i waited the 48 hrs tested and had a blank circle. The following day i tested and there was another smiley face that lasted another 48 hrs. After that second 48 hrs i tested and got a blank, the next day tested again and got another smiley that is currently still on the reader.

Not sure whats going on if I have a defective device but I just keep getting smiley faces that last the 48hrs on and off.

Just to also let you know here are my last few cycles 

June 3rd - June 5th

July 2nd - July 4th

July 28th - July 30th

August 22nd - August 24th

September 16th - September 18th

October 14th - October 16th

Hi Sam - Thanks for the info - we would not expect you to see more than one substantial Surge per cycle so we do recommend that you discuss your results with your Doctor.  Wishing you all the best!

Hi, I just purchased my Clearblue Fertility Monitor... my test sticks won't arrive for a week for some reason... i was wondering i have the advanced digital ovulation test at home. could those test strips work with this monitor or should I just wait until the ones I ordered arrive??

Hi Sam - No, you'll need to wait for the Monitor sticks to arrive - the ovulation test sticks are not suitable.  Did you follow up on your results with your Doctor?
