We'd be happy to help, Anne.  Which of our ovulation tests are you using, Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests (with pink caps) or Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests (with purple caps)?

what is difference between Ovulation Day and Fertile Days?

Thanks for writing back, Anne.  Ovulation is the process that happens once in every menstrual cycle when hormone changes trigger your ovaries to release an egg.  The egg can be fertilized for up to 24 hours after ovulation.  While an egg is only viable for about 24 hours, sperm can remain active for up to 5 days.  To get pregnant, you need to have sex leading up to and around when you ovulate.  Your most fertile days are the day of ovulation and 2-3 days prior to ovulation.

The instruction leaflet for our ovulation tests has a chart you can use to determine which day of your cycle to begin testing.  The chart differs, depending on whether you're using Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests or Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests.  Since you're using Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests and your cycle length is 24-26 days, you should start testing on day 7 of your cycle (which is based on a your shorter cycle length of 24 days).  When counting your cycle days, count the first day of your period as day 1.

Hope this helps!

No worries Anne, that's what we're here for.  The number of test sticks in the box is sufficient for most women with regular cycles to detect their LH surge.  Women whose cycle length varies by more than 3 days may need to perform more tests .  Also keep in mind that some women don't ovulate every cycle.

We'd be happy to talk through your questions.  In order to give you the correct telephone number to call, in which country are you located?
