My clear blue monitor shoed that i need to do a test, but than symbol appeared with the second error, which said to clean black button.this error appeared twice already in 10 days. Is it mean my monitor still read test correctly?

I'm sorry you received an error symbol twice, Deimante.  Can you describe the clean black button symbol you're seeing?  For instance, are you seeing the brush symbol by itself, the brush symbol with an exclamation point, or the brush symbol with peak fertility status?

Thanks for the description, Deimante.  This can happen if you insert a test stick when the monitor isn't asking for one.  Be sure to only insert a test sticks when the monitor asks for one.  You'll can tell when the monitor asks for a test stick when you see the symbol of a test stick with an arrow next to it (this is pictured on page 12 of the instruction manual).

If the error symbol you described remains on the screen even after the test stick is removed, it's likely that the lack button in the test stick slot has become sticky or stuck in the inward position.  To fix this, clean the test stick slot with a slightly damp cotton swab.  It shouldn't be wet, but only slightly damp.  To avoid urine build-up in the future, wipe excess urine from the test sticks before inserting them into the monitor.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, Karen for ur answer but I'm still not sure whay this happened, because My monitor showed that I need to perform a test, I done everything right. And the black button was clean and not stuck. That's whay I don't understand whay this error happened. I'm on day 12 in my cycle ( my cycle is 31-32 days)and I'm still low, last month this time I was on high.

You're welcome, Deimante.  May ask in which country you're located?  I'd like to see if we have a telephone number for customer support where you are.  Thanks!

My monitor showed I need to perform a test and I did well it was blinking acting like it was reading it. Then when I went to see what the results were I turned it back on and it showed the exclamation mark with the arrow to take out the test stick. This is the 3rd time it has done this to me. I was wondering the same question if it still means my monitor read the test ?

Hi Brittni, thanks for sharing what happened.  It sounds like the black button in the test stick slot may have become either sticky, or it's stuck in the 'in' position.  You can clean the test stick slot with a cotton swab that is not wet, but just slightly damp.  Also, wipe excess urine from test sticks before inserting them to keep urine from building up.

If that doesn't work or if you have other questions, please give us a call at 1-800-321-3279 and quote reference #FB344.  We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern time and would be happy to help.

I do always wipe my urine from the test sticks and I insert the test strip into a cup so I know it isn't getting wet.

Today before I inserted the test strip, I wiped the black button with a dry q- tip inserted my test strip and when I went back to see what the results were it was off, so I turned it back on and it showed the exclamation mark with the arrow to take out the test stick. It did show I was at my peak fertility and after I removed the test strip it did not show that message again.

After I removed the test strip I used the q- tip to clean it and I pressed down on the black bottom it was not stuck, when I did this it showed that same message as soon as I stopped pressing on the black button it didn't show that message.

I will try cleaning it with a damp q-tip tomorrow morning.

I do leave the test strip in while I'm putting on my makeup so maybe it is what Deimante said I left the test strip in too long so it gave me that message?

But does it still read the test correctly even with it saying that message ?

Hi Brittni, if the test stick is left in too long, the monitor will turn itself off.  If cleaning it with a slightly damp cotton swab doesn't do the trick, feel free to call us at 1-800-321-3279 and mention reference #FB344.  Thanks!
