Clearblue - not just for women anymore

So last year my husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Luckily it was caught on time. But what struck me as odd was when the doctor said they used a pregnancy test to confirm he had cancer. It wasn't til later in the year I found a story about a young man who thought it was funny that a pregnancy test he urinated on showed up positive, and decided to post it on the internet. That's when it hit me. This young man had many comments urging him to see a doctor soon. And eventually realized that the pregnancy test saved him from something that could have been worse. So why not make a pregnancy test specifically for young men? Of course the pregnancy part would have to change. But the product would basically be the same, only more appealing to young men. I think it's important for young men to check themselves regularly just the same as women should for breast cancer. But the reality is most young men wont do it. But if Clearblue could make it possible by repackaging the product to appeal to men, more lives can be saved. So I ask, would you consider making it possible to help young men start testing for testicular cancer? I for one am already considering having my boys take the test. But I know for them it will be awkward just knowing it's a pregnancy test. So please consider adding a new line to your product. Clearblue is not just for women anymore.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Star.  Please know that our pregnancy tests are not designed to detect cancer and should only be used by women who suspect they may be pregnant.  Although we sincerely appreciate your recommendation to market our tests to men, we only recommend seeing a doctor for cancer diagnosis.

We're thrilled that your husband's cancer was found in time!

Thank you Karen for the reply. I do agree that only a doctor should be the one to diagnose such disease. But much like a pregnancy test, early detection is important. Again, thanks for the reply and thank you for your kind words.
