Could it be defective?

Hi, is it possible that my Advanced Digital Ovulation test is defective? I ́m using this method some moths ago and worked very well, but according to my calendar I ́m ovulating now, but the test shows that I ́m not.

Hi Silvana,

You may not see a surge result in your cycle for the following reasons:

1) The urine sample used was too dilute (ensure that you use a urine sample that has been in the bladder for at least 4 hours when looking for your Peak Fertility result)

2) The LH surge was too low for the test to detect

3) The LH surge was too short for the test to detect

4) Ovulation didn't happen this cycle (this isn't unusual and happens in approximately 8% of cycles)

Don't be concerned if this is the first cycle you've experienced without an LH surge and if the Holder hasn't displayed an error then it's working as expected.
