Digital monitor not showing ovulation past two bars currently on day 21 of cycle.

Question

I have been using the clearblue easy digital ovulation test monitor.  I'm currently on day 21 according to the monitor, but the monitor never seems to show 3 bars with the egg to indicate Ovulation? I'm in the United States of America.  I've used morning urine I always use it the same time of day....Why? well, the monitor will not let you insert the test strip other wise.  Is this typical for the very first month of trying...or is there something else wrong with the device.

We're glad you're using the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, Mary. The monitor will let you know which days to test. There may be a small percentage of cycles where you don't see Peak Fertility. This can happen if a test was inadvertently missed, or if you didn't ovulate this cycle. An unusually short or long cycle can also cause Peak Fertility to not be detected.
