False Positive Test
I have been tracking LH using other test strips as well as temperature tracking, and am not expecting to ovulate for another ~5 days. However, I decided to start using my Advanced Digital Ovulation Test for the first time and it is showing a positive (solid) smiley face. Based on all other signs, I am fairly sure this is a false positive. The same urine yielded a very clear negative on multiple strip tests. Can the holder be used subsequent days? Or am I completely out the $60 I spent on this kit with 19 more test sticks wasted? This is extremely frustrating.

I had a similar thing happen to me this month. I got a static smiley face right after having a blank circle the day prior. This would mean I was ovulating 4 days early. Just to be safe I BD’d every other day for the next 7 days.
you can use the same holder again after the static smiley has disappeared. I used the same holder for two cycles in a row and it was fine. You can also use your leftover sticks with a new holder if you wanted to.
