faulty advanced opk

I purchased the advanced opks and last thursday I got the flashing smiley face and than on friday I got a solid smiley face, well yesterday I noticed an abundance of ewcm so I used the regular clearblue opk and got a smiley face. I am really disappointed in the clearblue advanced because it almost made me miss my opportunity to ttc. I am pretty sure I got a faulty test and I am really disappointed because I think I missed a day that I should have been actively ttc.
