Faulty pregnancy test

I took a digital pregnancy test tonight and followed the directions to the "T." There was an arrow pointing to a book instead of a result. These tests are far too expensive (and because of fertility issues, I but far too many of them) for faulty readings. How can I get a replacement? Thank you!
