Faulty reader

I purchased the Ovulation test a few months ago and decided to begin using it this week. I have used your products before so I am familiar with how they work. I read the instructions and inserted the strip only to have nothing appear on the display. I ejected and re-inserted it. Still nothing. I tried again this morning and am having the same result with a different strip. I don't want to continue to waste strips as it seems the reader is faulty. I'm a bit disappointed as these tests are not cheap. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
