Faulty Test

I starting taking this test on Monday of this past week and I got a O, Tuesday I got Solid Smiley, same Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday... My question is my test faulty, because today when I removed the test from the holder the solid smiley still has not came off the test. It has been 16 hrs since I have tested and there is still a smiley on the holder with NO test strip in it. I paid a lot of money for this test and not happy with it.

Hi Judy, thanks for your patience during the time it took to respond to your message.  It sounds like you're using Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests.  With this test, peak fertility is designed to remain on the display for 48 hours and indicates that this is your most fertile time.  There's no need to continue testing once peak fertility has been identified, and it's not possible to continue testing while a result is still on the screen.  Any remaining test sticks can be saved for a future cycle, if necessary.

We hope this is helpful.  If you have other questions, let us know!

Thank you for your reply. Well the smiley face is still on that test I just check. It has been over 48 hours. I do not think that is clear on the instructions. I have had a solid smiley for 5 days why would the last day be the only day that is showed up on the test holder for days after, I have had no change the smiley in five days? I spent a great deal of money on this test and it is rather confusing to me.

Thanks for writing back, Judy.  Since the solid smiley has stayed on your screen for 5 days, would you mind giving us a call so we can learn more?  Our Careline number is 1-800-321-3279, and when calling, please mention reference #FB257.  We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm ET and would be happy to help you out.
