First month trying purple advanced ovulation tetst

I started using the tests on CD 8. This morning on CD 10  I have a circle to show low fertility however I used my normal strip opks and that has showed a high reading mid- morning. Should I take another clear blue test this evening or wait till the morning? I do not want to miss my surge but its says to only test once a day until a flashing smiley?
