Flashing smiley AFTER ovulation

Hi there!

Last month I had my mirena removed after about a year of having it in place. I purchased the Clearblue digital test and it detected estrogen(flashing smiley face) on Monday the 7th. I tested again on Tuesday the 8th and it confirmed the LH levels with a solid smiley face which stayed on for 48 hours. I was sure to do the deed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Now, just out of curiosity, I took another ovulation test after I was supposed to ovulate, and it gave me the empty circle sign. A day after that, and every day since...it gives me the flashing smiley face. Do you have any idea what this could mean? Is it possible I could have been successful with conception? I believe its to soon for a pregnancy test, but I plan on taking one next week. I just wasn't sure as to what would cause the test to detect estrogen again like it did right before the LH surge.

Thank you!

Hi felt I should reply as seen a few posts about the same thing and the response from Clearview I think is misleading......exact same thing happened to me but out of curiosity continued to test and in fact a week after first solid smiley got another solid smiley and was experiencing all the signs of ovulation. Now Clearview says not to bother testing after the first solid smiley but if your body tells you you are ovulating I think you should go with what nature is telling you.....and you know what I'm pregnant! Looking at the research it is possible that your body gears up to ovulate in the usual way which the ovulation kit will pick up on but for what ever reason it might not fully happen and the body then gears up to give it another shot which Is when you get the second lot of flashing and solid smileys! So my advice is use the kit as a guide but if you feel like you are ovulating after that solid smiley keep at it!!

Hi Ladies - It's normal to see more High Fertility days if you carry on testing after Peak as there is a second rise in estrogen after ovulation.  It gives no indication of pregnancy status and as you have already found the information you were looking for about your fertile days so we recommend you stop and save your test sticks.  If you see more than one Peak Fertility in a cycle then we recommend you consult your Doctor as this is not typical and unfortunately it also means that the product is not suitable for you.  Wishing you both all the best!

So if I saw my peak on Sunday, and I kept testing for the next week (because I didnt read that part in the directions haha) and the test showed high fertility every day (so far 7 consecutive days) does that mean anything? I also have been feeling breast tenderness, a small amount of cramping, and excessive urination..
