Flashing symbol

I’ve been using the Clearblue Ovulation kit. This time I started about a week after my finished period. I’ve continued testing and had nothing until about 5 days ago (9 days before I’m due my next period). I’m still getting the flashing smiley this morning (4 days before I’m due my next period) but haven’t seen the peak fertility symbol. I’m guessing I’m not ovulating this month but don’t understand what it all means?
