Freezing on peak

Question

This is the second ovulation kit I have purchased that after I hit peak it just freezes and I cannot use again. The smiley face stays one and never goes away. I have tries all the help suggestions on the pamphlet. Is that the way is supposed to be? Please help. (silebsam@gmail.com)

Peak  Fertility is designed to remain constantly on the screen for 48 hours.   Have intercourse at any time during this time to maximize your chance of  getting pregnant.  Stop testing for this cycle once Peak Fertility has  been detected.  The screen will clear  after 2 days, and your holder and any remaining test sticks can be saved for  use in a future cycle if needed.
