On the Pregnancy Test with weeks estimator, what levels of HCG are tested at each week increment. For example I'm guessing 1-2 weeks measures a level of 25mlU/ml, what do the other weeks look for?
Thanks for writing, Nikole. The Clearblue Advanced Pregnancy Test with Weeks Estimator is over 99% accurate at detecting pregnancy when used from the day of your expected period. The Weeks Estimator part of the test is an estimate of how many weeks have passed since ovulation.
For 'Pregnant 1-2' we would expect the urinary hCG level to be between 10-156mIU/ml, for 'Pregnant 2-3' to be between 156-2,600 mIU/ml, and for 'Pregnant 3+' to be above 2,600 mIU/ml. The level of hCG fluctuates as it rises, so it's possible that the Clearblue Weeks Estimator will give unexpected results if you test again too soon or don't use your first urine of the day.
The Weeks Estimator is an estimate and is not meant to track your pregnancy. Please keep in mind if the test indicates that you're pregnant, you should follow up with your doctor who can advise you on what steps you should take next.
