High fertility AFTER peak fertility?

I've taken 6 Clearblue Advanced Ovulation tests. The first two indicated low fertility, the third peak, and the last three high. Is this possible?

We're glad you're using Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests, Stacy.  It's not uncommon for the holder to change from low fertility to peak fertility.  This product tracks the changes in estrogen and LH throughout the menstrual cycle.  If the necessary changes in estrogen are detected, the holder will display high fertility, and if the necessary changes in LH are detected, the holder will display peak fertility.  If the hormone changes naturally occur close together, or if your estrogen level is not high enough to be detected by the test, it's possible the holder will go from low fertility to peak fertility without displaying high fertility.

Once peak fertility has been identified, the solid smiley will remain on the screen for 48 hours, and it's no longer necessary to continue testing.  Have intercourse during these 48 hours to maximize your chances of getting pregnant.  Your holder and any remaining test sticks can be saved for use in a future cycle, if necessary.  Also, it's not possible to continue testing while a result remains on the screen.

Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-321-3279 & quote reference #FB271 if you'd like to talk through your questions.  We're open weekdays from 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern time and would be happy to help.  Thanks!

Hi there, I use the advanced fertility monitor, my cycle was relatively normal this month; high, high, high, peak, peak but the machine told me to continue testing after peak. So after 2 days of peak I got another high and today a low but the device tells me not to forget to test on day 18 again. It’s confusing because I think it should show 2 days of peak and I shouldn’t need to test again until my next cycle but it’s telling me to test tomorrow again. Obviously I don’t want to do anything wrong but I don’t think it’s really necessary to test after 2 peak days, 1 high and 1 low. Can I just stop testing? Thanks for your advice.

Hi,

Once you have found Peak Fertility on the Monitor you may stop testing, the Monitor will continue to ask for tests to complete a set of tests; as it asks for a set of 10 tests at a time. Once the LH surge (Peak Fertility) is detected we typically expect Ovulation within 24-36 hours, please check that you are suitable to use the Monitor; as certain medications and medical conditions may affect your results.

Took the clear blue advance fertility monitor. I got two high ovulations and two peak ovulations. Baby danced all four days. I did test after the peak just cause I was curious. I got low fertility as expected but the two days after that I for high fertility again. Why would this be?
