High fertility readings for the past 8 days - ClearBlue Digital Ovulation Test

Question

I purchased a Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test, 2 months pack and am seeing the Flashing Smiley ( High Fertility ) for the past 8 days. It was showing up as low fertility for the first couple of days and later started showing up with high fertility readings . Is it on expected lines or is the machine broken? If it is on expected lines, how long should we continue the test further to reach the peak fertility.

Hi Sheena! Thanks for your question about Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests. Hormone levels & cycle length varies from one woman to the next. As a result, the number of High Fertility days displayed are personal to you and may be more or less than 2. It's normal for some women to see more than 2 High Fertility days during all or some of their cycles.

If you started testing on the correct day for your cycle length and see more than 9 days of High Fertility, you may wish to stop testing this cycle. Occasionally some women have an LH surge that is too low for the test to detect, or they don't ovulate during a cycle and won't see Peak Fertility. This isn't unusual and may happen in approximately 8% of cycles.
