Holder not working

Hi, I used the test twice last cycle and got a solid smiley face. Now I’m trying to use it again for the next cycle I am getting the test ready symbol but it doesn’t flash, then goes to test ready and the book symbol. Tried ejecting and re inserting but still nothing. Can you help please? Hoping I don’t have to buy again as I have 17 tests left to use!
