I have a clear blue digital test which until I had used it I didn't realise it was out of date it came up negative it is out of date by 6 months is it possible to get a false negative as I have missed my period and my breasts feel really heavy?

Thanks for your question, Nadine.  We don't recommend testing with an expired pregnancy tests, as you won't be able to rely upon the results.  Your best bet is to test again with a new test.  If you receive a 'Not Pregnant' result with a new test and your period still hasn't arrived, consult with your doctor.  Best of luck!
