If I miss one morning test will it mess up the cycle?

I started testing on CD8 and forgot to use my first morning pee in CD10 so I skipped the day and now tested with first morning pee on CD11 and got a flashing smiley face. Does skipping one day mess up the reader’s baseline? In the future should I test later in the day if I miss my first morning?
