Issue with Clearblue digital ovulation holder

Hello, I bought the Clearblue digital ovulation test this week and tried to set it up this morning. I followed the instructions and lined up a blank test via the arrows onto the holder but the holder didn’t switch on and is blank. I think the holder is faulty. Please can you assist? The test was £32 so not cheap and it is not working at all.
