Hi Stacy, thanks for letting us know about your experience. I'm guessing you're using Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests. They're different from other ovulation tests which only check for LH, because they track the changes in 2 hormones - estrogen and LH - throughout the menstrual cycle.

The number of high fertility days displayed each cycle is personal to you and may be more or less than 2.  It's normal for some women to see more than 2 high fertility days in all or some of their cycles.  Once the digital holder detects an increase in estrogen, high fertility will be displayed.  The holder will continue to display high fertility until a significant rise in LH is detected.  If an LH surge is detected, peak fertility will be displayed continually for 48 hours and it is not possible or necessary to perform any further tests in this cycle.

It's also important to test only once per day using your first urine after your longest sleep.  Testing twice per day or with a later sample can affect the number of high fertility days displayed.

We hope this is helpful. If you have other questions, please let us know. We're happy to help!
