Low to peak fertility
Hi I'm inquiring about the Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test. I started to test late i started on cd 12 and got a low reading and on cd13 it went right to peak. Is that normal?

High Fertility is displayed if a rise in your estrogen levels is detected.
The number of High Fertility days is personal to you and your cycle. So you might see more High Fertility days in one cycle than the other. The following reasons are why you might not have seen any High Fertility days:
1) If you started testing too late in your cycle (your estrogen level might already been high so the test can't detect a difference)
2) If the rise in estrogen occurred at the same time as the surge in LH (the test will only show Peak Fertility, non-flashing smiley, because it's the most important result)
3) If the urine after the longest sleep isn't used (estrogen is produced most while you sleep)
4) If tests are inadvertently missed
5) If the rise in estrogen is too low for the test to detect.
If you don't see any High Fertility results for a number of cycles and you are testing correctly then we recommend you seek further advice from a doctor.
