Monitor symbol explanation, please!!!

Hi, I have been using the monitor for only one cycle, so I am still getting a hang of it. My question is: sometimes I forget to take the stick out after the monitor has finished reading the results, and the monitor turns itself off. When I turn it back on (with the stick still in), the test stick symbol with an arrow pointing to the right and with an exclamation mark symbol comes on. It has happened multiple times already. And I am on my 19th day of the cycle and so far no ovulation. Have I been doing something wrong and getting false reading? What does that symbol mean. The instructions seem unclear to me. Thanks

Thanks for writing, Nelli.  If you put a test stick in the monitor and forget about it, it will turn itself off.  When you return to the monitor, if you turn it on before removing the test stick, the 'remove test stick symbol' that you described will appear.  It doesn't matter in which order you turn on the monitor & remove the test stick, but if you remove the test stick before turning it back on, you won't see the 'remove test stick' symbol.  The symbol won't affect your results.  Hope this helps!

What does the exclamation mark mean next to the remove sign?

Hi Nelli, the exclamation point with the test stick and arrow to the right is the 'remove test stick' symbol.  The exclamation point doesn't indicate anything in & of itself.  The description of this and other symbols are on page 19 of your instruction booklet.
