Hi Sadie, thanks for getting in touch. Peak Fertility (solid smiley) will be displayed for 48 hours to indicate your most fertile time. There is no value in continuing to test after you first see Peak Fertility – you have found your most fertile time. You can save any remaining test sticks to use in a future cycle if required.

It’s likely that your first test result in a cycle or with a new Holder will be Low Fertility (empty circle). If you happen to do your first test on the day of your LH surge then the holder will display Peak Fertility. However, the first test result in a cycle cannot be High Fertility as the holder needs to analyse one test to set the baseline to the right level for your personal hormone profile.
