New Ovulation Test

I know that when you first use a new test stick it will always show a negative result as it is getting a baseline reading, but will it still show negative if you test again a few minutes later? I tested again about 10 minutes later and it showed negative again but I got a flashing smiley with my previous stick.

Also, I used the same urine on both tests as I always test using a cup.

I just wanted to come back here and leave a comment for anyone else this might help.

I decided to call the customer service number hoping I'd get an answer as not everyone gets a reply here. They answered on my first call & were very helpful and kind.

They said "If you start testing later than recommended and a significant rise in estrogen has already occurred, the digital holder will register that value as the baseline and will not show High Fertility in that cycle anymore. You may nevertheless keep testing until Peak Fertility is detected. (This is because the holder will always be able to show Peak Fertility).

Please be advised that it is important to use first urine of the day and not to miss any testing days until Peak Fertility is detected. Please start testing on the day of your cycle as per instructions leaflet based on your cycle length."
