I'm glad you're using our digital ovulation tests, Briana!  The leaflet has a chart that calculates which day to start testing based on your cycle length.  I'd be happy to help you with this, just reply to let me know your usual cycle length.

You can test anytime of day, as long as it's about the same time each day.  It's important not to have urinated for at least 4 hours before testing and to avoid excess fluid intake before testing.  Many women find it convenient to test with their first morning urine, but this isn't required.  Testing once per day is sufficient for most women.  If you believe you have a short LH surge, then you may choose to test twice per day to catch your surge.

Best of luck!

Thanks for writing back, Briana.  Since your period arrives every 30 days, your cycle length is 29 days, as your cycle length is calculated from the day your period starts until the day before your next period starts.  When using Clearblue Digital Ovulation Tests with a 29 day cycle, you should begin testing on day 12.  Since this is the first cycle you've had in awhile, you may want to finish this cycle and note its length before you begin testing, in case your cycle length has changed.

Please note that there are some medications & medical conditions that can affect the results.  We haven't tested our products with herbal supplements and can't confirm if the supplement you're using will have an effect, but thought it would be important to mention.  If you have other questions about the tests, feel free to let me know.  Hope this helps!
