No flashing smiley

I just started using the Advanced Digital Ovulation Test Kit. As per instruction (calculated from last period days), I started using it yesterday morning. I got a simple circle which appears to be normal/expected. But today, I already has a smiley face (non-flashing) which indicated peak fertility. Is this right?

Thanks for your question about Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests, Coa.  This isn't uncommon.

This test tracks the changes in 2 key fertility hormones, estrogen & LH, throughout the menstrual cycle.  If the necessary changes in estrogen are detected, the holder will display high fertility, and if the necessary changes in LH are detected, the holder will display peak fertility.  If the hormone changes occur close together, it's possible that the holder will change from low to peak fertility without displaying high fertility.  This can also happen if your estrogen level isn't high enough to be detected by the test, or if you started testing too late in your cycle.  You can be assured that you've still found your two most fertile days to try to conceive :)
