Not detecting the surge

Hi there! My wife has been using clearblue for two months/cycles now. She followed the instructions on the first cycle, but never showed a surge and had a period. To ensure she didn't miss it again, she tested it everyday from the end of that period to her next, with clearblue never detecting a surge. We're going to be trying for a third time, but we're not sure what to do differently. If you could offer any advice/suggestions, it would be most welcome. Thank you!

We're glad you chose Clearblue to help you on your journey to conceive. Occasionally some women may have an LH surge that is too low for the test to detect, or they may not ovulate during a cycle and therefore won't see Peak Fertility. This isn't unusual and may happen in approximately 8% of cycles. If you don't see Peak Fertility over a number of cycles, we recommend discussing this with your doctor.  We'd be happy to chat if you'd like to talk through your questions.  Feel free to call us at 1-800-321-3279.  We're open weekdays from 8:30-5:00 ET.
