Only Peak

Question

I have been using Clearblue's advanced digital OPK tests for two months now. The first month went just as instructed with two days of high fertility (flashing smiley face) and then my peak fertility (solid smiley face). This month was strange where I never got my flashing smiley face. I went went from empty circle to solid face the next day. What does this mean. Did I have a shorter window this month?

I'm glad you're using our Advanced digital ovulation tests, Autumn. The number of high fertility days is personal to you and may be more or less than two. High fertility is displayed when the test detects and increase in your estrogen level, and peak fertility is displayed when your LH surge is detected. THere are some factors which can cause the test to change from low fertility to peak fertility without displaying high fertility. This can happen if the estrogen & LH changes occur close together, if your estrogen level isn't high enough to be detected by the test, if a test was inadvertently missed, or if testing was started too late in your cycle.

You can rest assured that you've still found your two best days to conceive. Hope you get your BFP soon!
