Ovulation test confusion.

Hello,

I tested on Friday and had just the blank circle, tested again on Saturday and had a solid smiley face. I then left it a few days thinking I wouldn't need to test again this cycle. After having some cramping I tested again today (Wednesday) 4 days after getting static smiley face and I now have a flashing smiley face.

Is this normal or have I not ovulated yet?
