Hi Katherine.  You can if you wish although the Holder will have a finite life due to the batteries.  If you need more test sticks from a new pack during a cycle of testing then it's important to continue with the Holder you started with.  Every pack comes with a Holder so at the start of a cycle you may as well use the new Holder with your new Test Sticks.  Best wishes.
