Thanks for your question!  The number of high fertility days can vary from woman to woman and from cycle to cycle in the same woman, and it's normal for some women to experience more than 2 high fertility days in all or some of their cycles.

Once the digital holder detects an increase in estrogen, high fertility will be displayed.  Your holder will continue to display high fertility until a significant rise in LH is detected.  If an LH surge is detected, peak fertility will be displayed continually on the screen for 48 hours.  If an LH surge is not detected, your holder will continue to display high fertility until tests are missed for 3 consecutive days.

Other factors which can affect your number of high fertility days include fertility treatments such as clomiphene citrate and testing twice per day.  This test is designed to be used with the first urine after your longest sleep.  If you think you have a short LH surge and want to test twice per day, you should only do so after the test has shown high fertility.

If you have other questions, please let us know.  We're happy to help!

Does it mean even a man who has clomiphene citrate treatments could have the same result?

Hi Ekaterina, Clearblue ovulation tests look for the LH surge which occurs before ovulation in women.  Since they're not designed to be used by men, we have no information about the results a man might get with them.  Hope this helps!

I have had doubts that my fertility tests work well, because I have been taking the tests for 2 weeks and those have still shown high fertility. So my husband took the test and it showed he has had a high fertility day! Isn't it weird?

Hi Ekaterina, it's normal to see more than 2 high fertility days with Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests. The number of high fertility days displayed varies from woman to woman and from cycle to cycle in the same woman. The number is personal to you and be more or less than 2.

Once the digital holder detects an increase in estrogen, high fertility will be displayed in the form of a blinking smiley. Your holder will continue to display high fertility until a significant rise in LH is detected. If an LH surge is detected, peak fertility will be displayed for 48 hours and it's not possible or necessary to perform another test while a result is on the display. If an LH surge isn't detected, the digital holder will continue to display high fertility until tests are missed for 3 consecutive days.

If we can help further, please let us know!

Thank you! What should I do next: to continue take the tests (if so - how long?) or take a break for 3 days?
