Peak fertility on day 2 accurate?

This is my first time using the Clearblue Ovulation Test (10 test pack). Yesterday was test day #1 and the result was low fertility. Today on my 2nd test day, the result was peak fertility. Can this be accurate?

Hi Tera - What is your cycle length (shortest and longest) and what day of your cycle did you start testing?

To know the length of your menstrual cycle, count from first day of your last period (day 1) to the day before your next period.

29-31 with the majority being 31 and I started testing on day 11.

We're sorry for the delay in response.

We would typically recommend that you start testing according to your shortest recent cycle length. So in your case, that would be day 9. That would then give the test enough time to detect your estrogen rise (High Fertility). Ovulation would typically occur around 12-16 days before your next period so that would be around day 13 for you. If day 13 of your cycle is when you saw Peak fertility then this is completely normal and as we would expect. Having intercourse on these two days will maximise your chances of conception.

Next time, try and start testing on day 9 of your cycle so you get those High Fertility results.

Good luck!
