Peak fertility symbol & started period

Question

I got a peak fertility symbol today, and then a few hours later started my period. Is the test accurate in saying that I am in peak fertility, or could it be a false reading?

Hi Leigh, the Clearblue Fertility Monitor is 99% accurate at detecting the LH surge which occurs before ovulation, and Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests are more than 99% accurate at detecting the LH surge.
