Period in the High LH Phase?

Is it possible to be on your period while in the "high LH" phase of ovulation? The past 7 days I've been in the "high LH" ovulation phase, yet I think my period came today. Should I stop taking the advanced digital ovulation tests?

Thanks for using Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Tests, Shanna.  High Fertility indicates that the test has detected an increase in your estrogen level.  Hormone levels & cycle length vary from woman to woman, and the number of High Fertility days is personal to you.  Once High Fertility has been detected, your result will continue to be High Fertility until an LH surge is detected, or until tests are missed for 3 days in a row.  Some possible reasons for not seeing Peak Fertility include an LH surge that is too low for the test to detect, or if a woman doesn't ovulate during a particular cycle.

Starting your period indicates that a new cycle has begun.  Use the table in the instruction leaflet to calculate which day of your cycle to begin testing during this new cycle.  If you run out of test sticks and need to purchase another kit for more test sticks, be sure to use the same test holder.  If you switch holders in the middle of your cycle, you may see unexpected results.

We hope this is helpful to you!  Be sure to let us know if you have other questions.  Thanks!
