Plus Pregnancy Test - No Line in Control Window

Hi Jenny, thanks for letting us know what happened.  It's normal to see a horizontal line in the result window upon opening the foil wrapper.  The horizontal line is pre-painted.  If your test results is positive, a vertical line will appear to create a plus symbol.

The line in the control window isn't visible when first opening the foil wrapper, but it should appear within three minutes of testing.  If it doesn't appear within ten minutes, the test hasn't worked.  It could be because too little or too much urine was applied, the tip wasn't kept pointing downwards, or the test wasn't laid flat after testing.  Since you didn't see anything in the control window after testing, please give us a call at 1-800-321-3279 and quote reference #FB335 so we can learn more and help you out.  We're open Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern time.  Thanks!

I know this is an old post but, a very similar thing happened to me. I took a clearblue test and I got a negative but nothing in control window. (Uploaded picture) . The instructions said test didnt take as either too little or much urine was applied. So i go out and 2.5 hrs later I get home and just for the heck of it I check the test and now the test was saying it was positive and there was a line in control window too. Vaporline!?? Uploaded both pics before and after I went out. What do you think!?

Hey! So I took a pregnancy test and was confused. I took it two days ago and it turned out to have a horizontal line in the bigger window and a vertical line in the smaller control window? I was confused bcuz the instructions said if two lines appear it means positive but I don't know. I took one today but mid day when I didn't have to pee so much and it came back with a blank big window and then a line only in the small control window!?

Please give me info?!

I know this is a old post but from reading the last comment about dipping the test in the wee for 20secs does that apply to the clear blue easy to read result in 2 minutes as in the instructions it's says to do it for only 5sec which may of made the test give me a negative result I think

hi please can someone advise me,totally confused done a few tests due to a niggling feeling,havent had a period for a while as i think im premenopausal so impossible to judge on last period.anyway few test have very faint lines which show up before time is up,the clearblue test lines i noticed straight away.i have adapted lens as well to make it easier to see,any advice would be great x

Hello, my period is 5 days late. I tried a clear blue test this morning. It gave the negative in a second when I was peeing but gave the control line 2 minutes after. Is that considered a valid test?

I’ve used three test out of the same box , all three have immediately popped up negative but the control line has not showed up on any test. Is it possible I got a box of defective test ?

Hi, so I took a clearblue (not digital) earlier and I don't think I got enough urine, as it was only a dribble..the control window stayed white. Would it be a reliable result if I tried again with the same test, only made sure I took a sample and dipped it instead?

Patrice, I agreee 100%! I will never ever recommend this brand to anyone! I won’t ever buy it again either! Why does this company still exsist? Everyone I know that has ever used this brand has gotten a dud! What a waste of money!!
