Thanks for choosing Clearblue, Clare.  The level of hCG rises very rapidly during early pregnancy.  You can test with Clearblue as early as 5 days before your missed period, which is 4 days before you expect your period to start.  If you tested before the date of your expected period, there still is a chance you may be pregnant, and you should test again when your period is due.  Also, we recommend testing with your first urine of the day when testing before the date of your expected period.  

If your period is overdue, wait 3 days and if your period still hasn't started, take another test.  When testing after the date of your expected period, you can test at any time of day, and we recommend limiting your fluid intake before testing.

if you have unprotected sex say 7 times in a day would that increase the chance of being pregnant?

Thanks for writing back, Clare.  It's more important to have sex on your most fertile days than to have sex multiple times in one day. There are only a few days each month when you can conceive, and you need to have sex on the days leading up to and around when you ovulate. Two to three days prior to ovulation and the day of ovulation are your most fertile days.
