Smiley face on first day of testing, false positive?

This is my first day using the Clearblue Digital OPK, I got a smiley face on CD10, first time using it but it seems too early. Could this be a false positive. My cycles are still irregular since coming off Birth Control the beginning of September.

Hi, Rebekah - thanks for contacting us. Being on birth control will not affect your results but like you mentioned, your cycles might be irregular if you have recently stopped taking the pill, so it may be harder to know when to start testing. For this reason, it might be a good idea to wait until you have had 2 natural menstrual cycles in a row, and note the length of these cycles, before using a Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test or any other Clearblue Ovulation Test.
