Strange test results

Question

I was using the CB digital ovulation test (smiley vs blinking smiley) and after 20 tests I got a smiley face (yay); however, the same day I also received my period. How can I be entering my LH phase and starting period same day? I typically have cycles that go from 26 to 29 days though I had one cycle that is 34 days long.
